This policy explains the cookies and similar storage technologies KidEdu uses on kidedu.store.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device. "Local storage" is a related browser technology that lets a site remember information between visits.

2. What we currently use

• Essential local storage— we store your shopping cart in your browser's local storage so it isn't lost as you browse, plus your analytics-consent choice so we don't ask again. This data stays on your device and is not used for tracking.
• Cookie-less analytics — Vercel Analytics uses no cookies and collects only aggregated, anonymous usage data.
• Optional analytics cookies (only with your consent) — when Google Analytics 4 is enabled, it runs in Consent Mode: no analytics cookies are set unless you press Accepton the consent banner. Accepting sets Google's _ga cookies (up to 13 months) used to distinguish visits in aggregate. Pressing No thanks keeps them off; no advertising cookies are ever used.

Payments are processed by Stripe on their hosted checkout; any cookies set during payment are Stripe's and covered by Stripe's own cookie policy.

3. Local storage

Your shopping cart is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers until you place an order. Clearing your browser data, or switching device or browser, will empty the cart.

4. Managing cookies and your consent choice

You can control and delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect features such as the shopping cart. To change your analytics choice, clear this site's local storage in your browser — the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.
